In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting kitchen operations, preparing ingredients, and ensuring food safety standards are met with precision and care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your culinary expertise in a fast-paced, vibrant setting. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills and techniques Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service in accordance with menu specifications Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout all kitchen activities Handle food with care, following proper handling procedures to prevent contamination Contribute to menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods Support catering and special event setups by preparing large quantities of food efficiently Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies for seamless kitchen operations Collaborate with culinary team members to ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes Experience Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly desirable Experience working in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is a plus Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food industry Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and proper use of culinary tools such as knives Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food service standards Experience in catering or large-scale food production is beneficial Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
