The ideal candidate is an energetic, community-minded individual with a strong work ethic. The successful applicant will be a team player with a heart for service as well as a positive attitude. This person will work closely with our dedicated staff and volunteers to prepare the pantry for our daily distribution. Position is full-time, 40 hours per week, benefit eligible and includes Saturdays.

Duties include:

Transporting products from warehouses, coolers and freezers to distribution area Organizing, rotating and stocking produce during daily distribution Stocking shelves and sorting donations Assist with unloading of trucks and cleaning as needed Maintaining a positive attitude while working with and serving people in need Required skills: Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environment Strong work ethic and positive attitude Concern for the poor and marginalized Ability to lift, move and carry items Team-oriented with strong interpersonal communication skills Helpful skills: Previous grocery experience Spanish language skills

Paul's Pantry though, is more than just an emergency food pantry. Its goal is to provide a family with enough food every week, for as long as needed, so that they may use their food dollars for shelter, utilities and other necessities, and avoid becoming homeless.
