Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and customer service, ensuring that every sandwich is crafted to perfection while providing an exceptional dining experience for our customers. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness in our kitchen. Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer orders, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, utilizing the POS system for processing orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including bussing tables and cleaning workstations. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and preparing sauces. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations. Upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems is beneficial. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers. A passion for food preparation and a willingness to learn new skills in a kitchen environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
