Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accuracy in register operations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment regularly. Assist with food safety practices by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to sanitation guidelines. Support team members with bussing tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring the restaurant remains organized and inviting. Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail environments will help you excel. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management are essential. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting like a quick service or fast food restaurant while maintaining a positive attitude.
