Why you'll love this job Centralized to Skyview 8 and supervises, directs and coordinates job performance and activities of Attendance Supervisors and assures a quality product is consistently delivered to our customers The role is a part of the Flight Service team within our Customer Experience group. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations. Manage day-to-day work across assigned bases & ensures consistency in policy interpretation Works with Data & Analytics team for meaningful reporting and coordinates with senior leadership on attendance strategies Serves as an escalation point for Attendance Supervisors, base leadership & APFA Collaborates with Labor, Legal, Absence Manage & Team Member Services for local issues Regularly meets with regional directors and local management to understand attendance trends in their base & provides guidance when requested on performance policy interpretation Develops and manages special projects and takes the lead in mentoring others Ensures thorough understanding of and compliance with all company and departmental policies, procedures and regulations Provides guidance in developing Attendance Supervisors for greater responsibility and promotion Participates in task forces and planning activities to problem solve and plan the future direction of the department Supports various initiatives set by Flight Service Performs other projects as assigned Ability to work shift work, including weekends and holidays All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 3+ years of related experience in customer service industry Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Current Flight Service, Passenger Service or Passenger Sales experience Flight Attendant experience Knowledge and experience in American specific systems including SABRE, NAVIA, Case Manager, Attendance & Performance System/FlightCAPs. Skills, Licenses & Certifications Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skills Knowledge of working with a contract labor group Ability to qualify as a Flight Attendant Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects at the same time and presenting comfortably in front of large groups and Sr. Leadership Ability to work and make decisions independently with minimal supervision as well as function effectively as a member of a team.
