Beer Pourer, Ales on Rails (October Only) Verde Canyon Railroad | Clarkdale, AZ Join Our Team Looking to spend your October surrounded by great craft beer, beautiful fall scenery, and happy guests? Join Verde Canyon Railroad's Ales on Rails event as a Seasonal Beer Pourer. This seasonal opportunity is perfect for those with beer, bar, brewery, or hospitality experience who enjoy connecting with guests and being part of a fun, fast-paced event. About the Event Ales on Rails is Verde Canyon Railroad's annual celebration of craft beer. Guests gather at the depot before their train departure to enjoy samples from a rotating selection of craft beers while taking in the beautiful fall scenery of the Verde Valley. About the Role As a Beer Pourer, you will be at the heart of the guest depot experience, welcoming visitors, pouring beer samples, and helping set the tone for a memorable day. You will have the chance to: Engage with guests in a fun, social environment Pour and present a variety of craft beers Share knowledge and enthusiasm about different beer styles Provide friendly and responsible alcohol service Be part of a team that creates a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere Key Responsibilities We are looking for outgoing, dependable individuals who enjoy working with people and bring positive energy to the guest experience. Prior experience in breweries, taprooms, bars, restaurants, alcohol service, or hospitality is preferred. Beer knowledge is a plus, but a willingness to learn and engage with guests is just as important. Schedule Flexible availability throughout October 13-31 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM is a must!
Requirements:
Experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality environments Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive, team-focused mindset Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 pounds Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
