1Pm to 11:30Pm working Monday through Fridays and occasionally onSaturdays Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Processor to join our team at Koia. The Processor will be responsible for ensuring the accurate execution of production processes, adhering to safety and quality standards, and continuously seeking ways to improve operational efficiency. Additionally, effective communication and proactive problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. The company utilizes Redzone for Quality and Production performance monitoring and recording. Accuracy, integrity, and timelines are essential job requirements for all staff.Key Responsibilities:
Accurate Data Recording:
Record all process data in Redzone accurately and in a timely manner to ensure real-time production monitoring and traceability.Production Safety and Parameters:
Understand and operate within established parameters to ensure the production of safe and high-quality products. Be knowledgeable about key parameters such as product temperatures, torque values, PAA concentration, and production timelines.Follow Instructions:
Strictly follow written and verbal instructions to maintain the integrity of the production process. If unclear on any instructions, promptly seek clarification to avoid errors.Communication:
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to resolve production issues or discrepancies. Escalate unclear or contradictory instructions to ensure smooth operations.Continuous Improvement:
Proactively identify areas for process improvement, including operational efficiency, waste reduction, and quality enhancement. Collaborate with the team to implement these improvements.GMP Adherence:
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Uphold the facility's cleanliness and contribute to overall operational excellence.Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in a food or beverage production environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using Redzone or similar production monitoring software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and consistency in data recording and process execution.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain product quality.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Safety and Job Conditions Lifting Requirements Working in the facility may involve physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving equipment or raw materials. Operators must adhere to the following guidelines to prevent injury:
Weight Limit:
Employees may be required to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. It is essential to use proper lifting techniques, such as bending at the knees and keeping the back straight, to avoid injury.Assistance:
For items heavier than 50 lbs or when handling awkward loads, employees must request assistance from a co-worker or use mechanical aids (e.g., carts, forklifts) to safely transport the load. Working on Equipment Operators are responsible for maintaining and working safely on various equipment, such as the TetraPak VTIS & Alsafe. Proper procedures must be followed to ensure both equipment reliability and personal safety:- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO): Before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or repairs on machinery, ensure the equipment is locked out and tagged to prevent accidental operation. Only trained personnel are authorized to perform these tasks.
Machine Guarding:
Always ensure that all protective guards and safety mechanisms on the machinery are in place and functioning correctly before starting production.Preventive Maintenance:
Operators should conduct routine inspections and report any issues to the maintenance team immediately. Follow documented procedures for minor repairs, adjustments, and troubleshooting.- PPE for
Equipment Work:
When working on machinery, appropriate PPE such as gloves, safety goggles, and steel-toed boots must be worn to protect against potential hazards, including sharp parts, moving components, or electrical exposure. Adhering to these safety measures ensures the well-being of the entire team and maintains compliance with safety regulations.Job Type:
