Job Description
Full Steam Staffing is hiring Pasteurizer Operators in Buttonwillow, CA! This position is responsible for safely operating and monitoring pasteurizing equipment used in juice production. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Complete equipment and start-up checks before production.
Monitor product temperature, flow rate, and tank levels.
Verify proper hoses, valves, tanks, and product routing.
Monitor equipment for alarms, leaks, unusual noises, vibration, or other issues.
Report equipment, quality, and production concerns to the appropriate team.
Complete production, quality, downtime, and cleaning documentation accurately.
Perform assigned cleaning and sanitation activities, including CIP procedures.
Follow all safety, food safety, sanitation, and operating procedures.
Communicate important production updates and equipment issues during shift handoffs.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready work area.
Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams.
Follow established procedures and report opportunities for improvement. QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous production or equipment operating experience preferred.
Ability to follow written procedures and safety instructions.
Ability to monitor equipment and identify problems.
Basic troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical production tasks.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Work Environment This position may involve exposure to moving mechanical equipment, vibration, bright lighting, and cleaning chemicals.
