Overview Join our vibrant team as a Tasting Room Associate, where your passion for wine, exceptional customer service skills, and enthusiasm will shine. In this dynamic role, you will create memorable experiences for guests by sharing your wine knowledge, guiding tastings, and providing personalized recommendations. You'll be the friendly face representing our brand, fostering a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to explore our offerings and return time and again. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued from the moment they step into the tasting room Conduct engaging wine tastings, explaining tasting notes, vineyard stories, and pairing suggestions to enhance guest appreciation Assist customers in selecting wines based on their preferences, upselling where appropriate to increase sales and enhance their experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting area, including glassware, bottles, and tasting stations Manage POS transactions accurately using systems such as Commerce 7, including cash handling and receipt processing Educate guests on wine service etiquette and proper tasting techniques to elevate their experience Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and contribute to a positive team environment Skills Proven experience in customer service within the food and beverage or hospitality industry, with a focus on wine or fine dining preferred Strong knowledge of wines, including varietals, regions, tasting notes, and wine service standards Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and engage diverse audiences Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a genuine guest-focused approach Join us as a Tasting Room Associate to share your passion for wine while delivering exceptional hospitality. $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
