The ideal candidate is passionate about people, eager to learn our wine portfolio, and committed to creating memorable moments for every guest who walks through our doors. If you love connecting with people and have a genuine curiosity for wine, we'd love to meet you. Duties Deliver warm, genuine hospitality that makes every guest feel welcome and creates a lasting impression Learn and confidently speak to our wine offerings, including tasting notes, winemaking stories, and food pairings Pour and present wines with care and enthusiasm, guiding guests through an enjoyable tasting experience Handle transactions accurately using our POS system Work efficiently and gracefully during events and peak hours without sacrificing the guest experience Support wine sales by connecting guests with bottles they'll love Assist with restocking and basic inventory to keep the tasting room running smoothly Respond to guest questions and concerns with warmth and professionalism Care for glassware — running glasses through the washer, drying, and polishing to a pristine finish Assist with light physical tasks including lifting as needed Skills & Qualities Must be 21 years of age or older (required by law to serve alcohol) A natural people person with a friendly, welcoming demeanor Fast learner with a genuine interest in wine and willingness to grow your knowledge Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic comfort with POS or point-of-sale systems (we'll train you) A team-first attitude and dependable work ethic Come be part of the Calligraphy experience — where great wine meets great hospitality.
