Job Description
Tasting Room Associate DaFoe Wines is a small, family-owned winery in the Santa Ynez Valley, and we're looking for a reliable, wine-focused person to join our tasting room team long term. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys wine, hospitality, and connecting with people. This role combines wine education, guest experience, and sales in a relaxed, personal setting. What We're Looking For Genuine interest in wine and a desire to keep learning Warm, personable, and confident with guests Comfortable talking about and selling wine Previous wine, hospitality, restaurant, or retail experience preferred Knowledge of Santa Ynez Valley wine is a plus Reliable, organized, and comfortable working on a small team Weekend availability required Must be 21+ Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods Responsibilities Host and guide wine tastings Share our wines, vineyards, winemaking approach, and the DaFoe story Process wine and wine club sales Keep the tasting room clean, organized, and well stocked Assist with private tastings and events Follow ABC and responsible alcohol service requirements Compensation Hourly pay + tips Wine club incentives To apply, please send your resume and a short introduction sharing your experience and what interests you about wine to emily@dafoewines.com .
