The Production Associate will be responsible for following all production policies and procedures to support the start-up of this new operation. This individual will work in a team environment and will report to the Production Supervisor.

OT Key Responsibilities:

Follow all Safety, Allergen Controls, Food Safety & Sanitation, Food Defense, and SQF policies and procedures relating to job duties Maintain productivity metrics, and daily, and weekly goals for production. Stand at packing lines to observe and test packets of finished goods Keep up with the speed of the packing machine. Package finished product into crates. Stack full crates (30-40 lbs) on pallets. Ensures that adequate packing supplies are stocked in or near the packing machine. Responsible for maintaining work area clean and organized. Use squeegee, brush, and broom to clean room for CIP. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1 year of experience in food safety in a food manufacturing environment preferred. Basic math skills Ability to work day or evening shifts and weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to maintain a safe and positive work environment. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 60 lbs. Ability to to bend twist, stoop, squat, and pivot. Ability to walk and stand for 8+ hour shifts.
