Food & beverage production Manufacturing Full Job Description Down To Ferment is hiring for Production! Learn all about fermentation as well as how to make and bottle hot sauce properly! There is room to grow with us and move up as we continue to consistently scale our manufacturing.
Basic Duties include:
  • Lifting 50lbs
  • Basic vegetable prep (stemming peppers, cutting onions, blending, mashing etc.)
  • Bottling hot sauce
  • Cooking sauce
  • Dish washing
  • Must be efficient and able to multitask As a Hot Sauce Maker, your duties will include:
  • Following correct HACCP control points
  • Ensuring GMPs are maintained
  • Learning Recipes
  • Inventory communication
  • Mise en place The right fit is the most important part.
We want you to enjoy what you are doing and what you are learning about. Prior fermentation knowledge is not required, but retaining the training is critical.
What you will learn:
  • pH controls and how to measure
  • Documentation of licensed food manufacturing
  • Lacto Fermentation
  • Acetic fermentation (Kombucha)
  • Food manufacturing equipment and proper care
  • Scaling and recipe calculation for large scale manufacturing
  • GMPs of food manufacturing This job is Tuesday
  • Thursday, for 8-hour shifts.
Start time 8am. There are occasions where we may request an extra shift on Monday or Friday but not required. We are flexible with schedules and can accommodate most time off requests.
