Job Description

Sanitation & Industrial Cleaning Associate Food Manufacturing Facility Pay:
$20/hr 1st
Shift:
Typical hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday Flexible start as early as 6:00 a.m. (40 hours/week required) About the Role We are seeking a Sanitation and Industrial Cleaning Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant food manufacturing facility. This role is essential to ensuring food safety, employee safety, and overall plant cleanliness in a fast‑paced, FDA‑regulated environment . Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize production areas to meet food safety and sanitation standards Perform daily janitorial tasks such as: Sweeping and mopping floors Wiping down equipment and surfaces Removing trash and debris Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas Conduct routine walk‑throughs inside and outside the facility to ensure a clean, orderly environment Perform food sanitation duties in accordance with FDA, GMP, and internal procedures Climb stairs and access elevated areas (including the roof) for cleaning as needed Safely lift and move items up to 50 lbs Follow all safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines Work collaboratively with team members to complete sanitation schedules in a high‑volume, automated facility Required Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in sanitation, janitorial, custodial, industrial cleaning, or general labor Must have high school diploma or GED Comfortable working in a food manufacturing or production environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, climbing, and standing for long periods Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety Reliable attendance and ability to work a full-time schedule (approx. 40 hours/week) Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
