This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for leading the day-to-day Front of House operations while working directly with the owners to achieve short- and long-term business goals. Job Requirements Exceptional attention to detail and effective communication skills Strong leadership skills 2 years of management experience preferred; Point of Sale knowledge is a plus Ability to interact positively and enthusiastically with guests, co-workers, and owners Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to adhere to all company policies and ensure policies are upheld by staff and guests Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Strong understanding of applicable local, state, and federal health regulations and ability to ensure Mountain Tap Brewery remains compliant Must be well-groomed and ready for work at the scheduled start time of each shift Responsibilities Create and post weekly FOH staff schedules in an organized and timely manner Build and maintain relationships with new and regular guests Oversee and participate in training for all new FOH staff members Support owners with guest inquiries through phone calls and email Maintain clear and consistent communication with employees and owners Manage situations in the moment and make independent decisions guided by Mountain Tap Brewery policies and culture Actively participate in FOH employee recruitment Hold FOH staff accountable to owner and management expectations and provide coaching as necessary Ensure all steps of service and SOPs are followed by FOH staff on a daily basis Provide hands-on assistance to FOH staff with all Front of House duties Assist servers with comps, voids, transfers, and general Point of Sale functions Check out servers at the end of shifts and reconcile end-of-shift reports Complete all closing duties and ensure the building is properly closed and secured each night Exceed guest expectations by providing a high level of service in a fun, fast-paced environment Maintain strong knowledge of all Mountain Tap Brewery menu items and general brewing processes Maintain professionalism at all times with co-workers and guests Represent and uphold the Mountain Tap Brewery brand as defined by the owners Compensation & Benefits $27-$32 per hour, depending on experience End-of-season bonus based on hours worked Complimentary shift meal $50 monthly house account Opportunity to participate in company health insurance plan with a $2,000 annual premium offset Opportunity to participate in company
