Full Job Description Note:
This is a direct hire position for Aramark, a global leader in food, facilities, and hospitality services, at FSU Athletics Job Description The Food Production Worker is responsible for preparing, portioning, packaging, and assembling food products while maintaining quality, safety, and sanitation standards. This position supports daily food production operations by following recipes, production schedules, and company procedures to ensure products are prepared accurately and efficiently. Job Responsibilities Prepare ingredients for food production, including washing, cutting, measuring, and mixing. Assemble, package, and label food products according to established specifications. Follow recipes, production schedules, and portion control guidelines. Inspect food products to ensure quality, freshness, and consistency standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and production areas. Operate food production equipment safely and efficiently. Store food products properly and follow First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory practices. Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing food supplies and ingredients. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or product concerns to supervisors. Follow all food safety, HACCP, and sanitation regulations. Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required. Support other production and kitchen functions as assigned. Ensure proper handling and security of company products, equipment, and assets. Previous food production, food manufacturing, warehouse, or kitchen experience preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic math and measurement skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality required. Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive motions. Ability to work in varying temperatures, including refrigerated and hot production environments. Ability to safely operate food production equipment. Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as applicable.
