Dietary Office Operator Tampa General Hospital - 3.9 Tampa, FL Job Details $15 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications Chemical handling safety procedures Computer literacy Industrial chemical handling Chemical safety protocols Chemical waste Full Job Description Description Ensures appropriate communications between the nursing units and Dietetic Services regarding patient menus, diet changes, and general patient services. Ensures the accurate deployment of menu tallies for food production, NPO and tube feeding protocol monitoring. Creates an environment among the Dietary Office staff to react accurately and effectively to all changes to ensure efficient timing of services and the accuracy of physician's ordered modified diets. Must keep Dietitians and Department Management informed of patient concerns and satisfaction issues. Performs computer-related activities as required. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital. Qualifications Four (4) years experience working in a hospital, commercial restaurant, or other food service operation, two of those years in Dietary Office operations in a healthcare setting preferred. Ability to accurately give and follow oral and written instructions in English. Fluency in Spanish is desirable. Ability to accurately give proper instructions when using, disposing, and mixing chemicals.
