Responsibilities Provide expert guidance on wine selections, tasting notes, pairing suggestions, and beverage trends to enhance customer satisfaction Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, stock rotation, and maintaining proper storage conditions in compliance with safety standards Ensure all beverage handling adheres to sanitation protocols, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety regulations Operate equipment related to wine storage, dispensing, and packaging while troubleshooting mechanical issues promptly Support the manufacturing or packaging processes for beverages by maintaining equipment functionality and performing routine maintenance tasks Handle manual material handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting of cases or bottles using proper techniques and material handling equipment such as forklifts when certified Uphold safety standards within the production or storage environment by following safety protocols and participating in safety training sessions Skills Extensive knowledge of wine varieties, brewing processes, craft beer experience, and beverage manufacturing practices Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently Experience with food & beverage production environments, including quality assurance within the food industry Familiarity with sanitation procedures, HACCP principles, CGMP standards, and food safety regulations Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and recipe adjustments Excellent team leadership skills with a focus on collaboration in fast-paced settings Knowledge of industrial chemical handling related to cleaning agents or sanitizers used in beverage facilities Experience with warehouse operations, machine operation, packaging processes, and heavy lifting techniques Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and continuous improvement in food & beverage production environments Join us as a Wine Specialist where your expertise will help craft memorable experiences for our guests while advancing your career in a lively industry dedicated to quality and innovation!
