Institutional Bakery Manager The Institutional Bakery Manager plays a vital role in overseeing a high-volume production environment, specifically managing the creation of half a million pizzas weekly. This position involves leading a team of three shift line supervisors, focusing on waste reduction and operational efficiency. The manager will face the challenge of establishing processes in a newly built facility while fostering a cohesive team culture. You'll oversee production at a brand-new facility, build a high-performing team and help shape the future of a growing food manufacturer with an outstanding reputation for innovation and employee longevity. Salary:
$120,000-$135,000+ /
Year DOE Responsibilities:
Oversee team operations, including hiring, coaching, and maintaining staffing levels Monitor waste and efficiency across production processes Manage the production schedule to meet demand
Requirements:
10+ years of commercial or institutional baking experience Minimum 3 years of production management experience Proven ability to oversee a team and drive efficiency Experience in institutional or large-scale bakeries Technical proficiency in relevant baking technologies An understanding of gluten-free innovations and technologies is preferred
