Greenscale is a start-up company with plans to produce live fish, leafy vegetables and derivative vegetable products at a combined hydroponics/aquaculture facility in Boise, Idaho. Greenscale's product development and market focus are on customers that value enhanced nutrition, quality and freshness. The Greenscale facility, features three hydroponic ponds, six ebb and flow tables, a few germination chambers, and 22 grow tanks for tilapia. These will all facilitate Greenscale's ability to grow fresh nutritious produce.

Responsibilities:

learn Greenscale products and operations learn Greenscale's growing, cleaning/sanitation, hygiene, harvesting and shipping procedures support all aspects of plant growth procedures from seed to harvest and shipment work with the grow team to ensure tasks are completed each day help continuously improve processes and procedures Be committed to following all safe work practices support ad hoc tasks for Greenscale operations as the business requires

Qualifications:

basic knowledge of horticulture preferred ability to follow procedures accurately contribute to the food safety culture at Greenscale hands-on, energetic and willing to work in a chaotic start-up environment desire to learn and contribute to a growing team passionate about delivering quality and value to customers Hourly Wage $18

Pay:

$17.50 - $18.00 per hour
