Job Description

Local winery currently seeking a candidate who has an interest in the wine industry to fill an immediate opening for a harvest cellar position in one of our production facilities located in Caldwell, Idaho. The Cellar harvest position will work alongside our cellar crew in all operations during harvest from late August to mid-November.
Key Responsibilities:
Move Juice / Wine from tank to tank using pumps, hoses, and fittings. Weigh additives and make additions to the Juice / Wine. Sanitize tanks, hoses, pumps, and fittings. Operate Pumps, Presses, and Filters. Maintaining an organized and clean working environment. Other duties as assigned by Winemaker and Cellar Master.
Skills and Requirements:
Ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to take initiative and work in teams, and independently. Willingness to maintain a clean environment at all times. Must be willing to kneel, climb stairs/catwalks, and/or lift 50 lbs. Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods under variable temperatures. Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented. Self-starter with initiative willingness to learn and follow new procedures. Previous experience in a winery preferred but not required. Basic math required. High school graduate or GED required College degree preferred but not required #
INDY Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 45.0 per week
