Job Description

Coffee Roaster - Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Coffee Roaster to join our team. As a Coffee Roaster, you will be responsible for producing exceptional roasted coffee that meets our quality standards and delights our customers. This role combines craftsmanship, technical knowledge, and attention to detail to ensure every batch is roasted with precision. You will also play a key role in maintaining equipment, supporting production operations, and ensuring food safety compliance. Responsibilities Roast coffee to exact specifications, monitoring profiles for consistency in flavor, aroma, and quality. Operate and maintain roasting and grinding equipment, applying mechanical knowledge to ensure peak performance. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the roasting and production area in compliance with sanitation guidelines, HACCP standards, and CGMP regulations. Package roasted coffee products accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper labeling and quality control. Track and manage green and roasted coffee inventory, reporting shortages or discrepancies to management. Support warehouse operations as needed, including forklift operation for inventory handling. Collaborate with the team to develop and refine roasting profiles, staying informed about industry trends and innovations in coffee. Engage with customers, partners, or wholesale clients when needed, representing the brand with professionalism and product knowledge. Qualifications Previous experience in coffee roasting or food production strongly preferred. Knowledge of roasting techniques, food safety protocols, HACCP guidelines, and CGMP regulations. Mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting roasting equipment. Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in a fast-paced production setting. Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented attitude.
