About Skokie:

Job Summary:
This position will work in the Halfway House in season and will work in the Paddle House out of season. The Halfway House is a small building on our golf course where Members, their guests, and caddies are able to order food, drinks, and snacks. While working in the Halfway House, the attendants are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the location and for the care of the Members, caddies, and guests who enter the Halfway House. The Paddle House is located on the back end of our golf course. The Paddle House has its own kitchen with a cook and a bar area. While working in the Paddle House, the attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the location and serving and bartending. Skokie Country Club employees represent the Club every time they step on property and should act with a sense of responsibility to make sure that Member's expectations are being exceeded.

All F&B Managers, Assistant General Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
Will display excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills on a daily basis with Members, guests, caddies, and fellow employees Demonstrate genuine hospitality while greeting and establishing positive relationships with Members and guests throughout the Club Will be expected to constantly deliver exceptional experiences Will always keep their working environment safe and presentable Will be using the POS system to take orders Will be cooking and preparing foods such as hotdogs and guacamole at the Halfway House Will be serving hotdogs, sandwiches, refreshments, and snacks at the Halfway House Will be serving various food and drink items at the Paddle House Will be serving alcoholic beverages at both locations Will be expected to excel in the delivery of food and beverages to Members, guests, and caddies Must possess a true desire to satisfy the needs of Members and their guests in a fast-paced environment Will be working with a small team or on their own once fully trained Completes any potential side work pre- or post-shift Own every Member request Will always provide friendly and attentive service Any other duties assigned by the
Food and Beverage Managers, Director, or Assistant General Manager Availability:
Must be available to work nights, weekends, Club events, and most Holidays all year round
Qualifications:
Must possess an adequate level of POS/computer skills Must be 21 years of age or older Must have a valid driver's license Must have upbeat, outgoing positive attitude Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time Must be Food Handler/Basset Certified (we can provide courses if needed) Must possess a true desire to satisfy the needs of members and guests in a fast paced environment Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight up to 35lbs. Ability to work effectively with a team and on their own Willingness to learn Experience in private clubs is a plus Advanced wine and spirits knowledge a plus Compensation (non-tipping): Hourly rate of $20/hr
