Full-time; First Shift hours Monday-Friday About Us Bourbon Barrel Foods is a leader in gourmet food production and home to the first soy sauce microbrewery in the United States. We blend Kentucky's rich bourbon heritage with traditional Japanese brewing techniques. We take immense pride in our small-batch process and are looking for a dedicated Soy Sauce Brewer to join our production team in Louisville. The Role In this role, you aren't just a production worker; you are a craftsman. You will be responsible for the hands-on production of our signature Bluegrass Soy Sauce—the only soy sauce in the world fermented in bourbon barrels. You'll ensure every batch meets our high standards for flavor, aroma, and quality.

What You'll Do The Craft:

Learn and execute the ancient traditions of natural fermentation.

The Science:

Monitor and manage "koji" culture development and long-term fermentation cycles.

Production:

Assist in the pressing, filtering, and bottling of our gourmet products.

Maintenance:

Maintain a clean, food-safe (HACCP compliant), and respectful brewing environment.

Physical Labor:

Handle raw ingredients (soybeans, wheat) and manage barrel rotations.

Who You Are Experience:

You have 1+ years of food manufacturing experience, knowledge of HACCP (BBF is SQF Level 2 certified), and experience operating a forklift is preferred.

Detail-Oriented:

You understand that great flavor comes from patience and precision.

Physically Capable:

Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and standing for the duration of a shift. Eager to
