North Adams, MA Ooma Tesoros\'s seeks to add two Specialty Food Production Associates to our team of hard-working people with an attitude of professionalism, coach-ability, flexibility, and self-improvement, as well as a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. How cool would it be to be a part of a small team of food producers making an exceptional product and the next time you are in a grocery store you can point to the shelf and say: \"I made that!\" To meet growing demand, we are hiring full-time and part-time associates to work under the direction of our Production Manager in our production kitchen is in North Adams, MA. These people must work well with others and have an ability to work self-directed. They must enjoy prepping and cooking tomatoes, onions, and garlic, and be familiar with good food making practices, food health and safety requirements and protocols. They must be comfortable working with industrial food processors, following our process and clear procedures for keeping our kitchen running smoothly as we continue to ramp up scale. We are looking for people who maintain impeccable personal cleanliness and hygiene and who can help keep our kitchen sparklingly clean, organized, and well-run. Qualifications
  • Commercial kitchen experience and interest in food
  • A positive and friendly attitude, able to collaborate and communicate with the team
  • Someone who enjoys physical work and repetitive tasks
  • Physical strength, comfort with hot environments
  • An ability to lift 40 pounds
  • The ability to be precise in the measurement of weighing foods and liquids, keep track of time and temperatures, and keep excellent records, and maintaining safe and healthy food practices Compensation Compensation commensurate with abilities and experience.
