Production Associate - Brewer Track Wild Bay LLC is a fast-growing company dedicated to making approachable and exceptional hand-crafted beverages. We are the proud makers of Wild Bay Kombucha and Icaro Yerba Mate. Shifts include working the bottling machine, building 9-pack boxes, lifting and hauling packaging materials, cleaning kegs, placing cases of beverages on pallets for delivery, and all other production/warehouse related tasks. This position will initially start entirely in Production. Brewing-related tasks and responsibilities may be incorporated after the person becomes comfortable with our processes and standards. The Production Associate - Brewer Track will be expected to: Contribute to the successful packaging of beverages made by Wild Bay LLC Fully understand and operate production equipment after the training period Be able to perform in different positions on the production team after the training period Operate, maintain and clean production equipment including 40 barrel brite tanks, bottling machine, filters and pumps to the facility standards Complete and sign off on daily logs Perform tasks to finalize inventory numbers in production software Communicate effectively and regularly with all teammates and management staff Maintain proper food safety and facility standards at all times Fully understand and perform proper rotation of product according to FIFO guidelines Fully understand and perform proper storage of product according to facility standards Learn and fully understand Quality Control standards for all products produced in the facility Perform physical tasks on a daily basis, including but not limited to carrying 50 lbs up stairs, climbing ladders, emptying heavy trash bags, standing for the majority of shifts, moving 12-pack and 9-pack cases of bottles and cans repeatedly, filling and lifting sixtel kegs for full shifts, and working in a walk-in refrigerator for extended periods Display excellent team work Maintain thorough and accurate record keeping digitally and on paper Brewers are expected to: Complete a series of different brews weekly Operate and maintain brew kettles, fermentation tanks, pumps, brite tanks, scales and all other facility equipment Create, operate and maintain production batches in brewer software Label and track product throughout fermentation Perform high-level planning Experience is not required, however pallet jack and food safety handling experience is preferred. Standard Hours are Monday through Friday, however Saturday availability is necessary on an as needed basis.
