About the role Do you love craft beer and enjoy connecting with people? We're seeking an enthusiastic Beertender to join our taproom team at Eastern Market Brewing Co.! As a Beertender, you'll pour and serve beer with knowledge, care, and personality. You'll guide guests through our beer offerings, recommend selections based on their preferences, and educate them about brewing techniques, flavor profiles, and our beer styles. This role is about creating memorable experiences , sharing your passion for craft beer, and being part of a team that values intentionality, scrappiness, and kindness. What you'll do Greet and engage guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Pour and serve a variety of craft beers accurately and efficiently. Educate guests about beer styles, flavor profiles, and brewing processes. Recommend beers based on guest preferences and tastes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the taproom and bar area. Monitor inventory, restock as needed, and assist with product rotation. Assist with events, special releases, and other taproom activities. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old. Passion for craft beer and enthusiasm for sharing it with others. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a customer-facing or bar/taproom role preferred. Weekend availability required.
