Experienced Brewer - Bills Brewing Wilmington, NC | Full-Time Bills Brewing is looking for an experienced brewer to join our production team. We're a fast-growing craft brewery with a strong taproom presence (Capt'n Bills Backyard Grill), local self-distribution network, and expanding regional footprint throughout North Carolina with Empire Distributors. About Bills Brewing Located at Capt'n Bill's Backyard Grill & Volleyball, Bills Brewing combines award-winning craft beer with one of the area's most unique hospitality destinations. Our brewery serves our restaurant, volleyball facility, and hundreds of retail and on-premise accounts across the region.

Position:

Brewer Responsibilities Execute all aspects of the brewing process, including: Milling Mashing Lautering Boiling Fermentation management Dry hopping Cellaring Packaging Monitor fermentation performance and yeast health Maintain detailed brewing and production records Perform routine cleaning and sanitation (CIP) Assist with canning, kegging, and packaging operations Maintain a safe and organized production environment Troubleshoot brewing and cellar issues as they arise Assist with recipe execution and quality control initiatives Support inventory management of raw materials and packaging supplies Participate in brewery events and occasional taproom activities Qualifications Minimum 2 years professional brewing experience preferred Strong understanding of brewing science and cellar operations Experience operating commercial brewing equipment Knowledge of sanitation and quality assurance practices Ability to lift 55+ pounds regularly Ability to work in hot, wet, and physically demanding conditions Forklift certification is a plus Packaging and canning line experience is required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Positive attitude and team-first mentality Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off Employee discounts on food and merchandise Beer benefits Opportunities for professional growth within a growing brewery Work in a fun, team-oriented environment Schedule Full-time Some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and event support may be required What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who takes pride in consistency, cleanliness, and quality.
