This position is responsible for ensuring that customers have a positive and memorable experience at Taps & Barrels Beerhouse, a self-pour taproom in southwest Las Vegas. The candidate must have a passion for Craft Beer and food and beverage industry for learning the details of the beers and food we sell and our general business operations.

Responsibilities include:

Greeting customers promptly and courteously; guiding customers to learn about how to use the self-pour beer wall to pour beers they enjoy; setting up and cleaning up daily operations and special events; stocking beer and dining room amenities; accurately performing daily keg inventory and money handling procedures; promotes the sale of beer and food items sold in the taproom; maintain cleanliness of the taproom and guest restrooms. Duties Must be at least 21 years of age Must obtain a TAM/Alcohol Awareness card, and a health card from SNHD Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their check-in process efficiently Assist guests with reservations and walk-in seating, ensuring optimal table management using restaurant reservation systems and POS. Educate guests on how to use the self-pour taps responsibly and safely, providing excellent guest relations throughout their visit Monitor the taproom environment to maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and adherence to food safety protocols Manage restaurant table management systems to optimize seating arrangements and minimize wait times Process transactions accurately using POS systems, including food and beverage sales, tips, and billing. Excellent people skills; able to always show a friendly and professional manner Able to perform quality work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and big crowds Able to be responsive and flexible at last minute requests Greets all guests with a smile and offer to help Effectively suggests and introduce beers to customers Handles routine purchasing transactions, which include operating cash register Acquires and maintains thorough knowledge of the self-pour beer system we use Work in a team environment and open to performing other duties when help is needed This position reports directly to the tasting room

Manager/owner Qualifications:

Able to work a flexible schedule High school diploma or equivalent and/or qualified experience required Experience a bar/brewery/taproom is a plus Hospitality experience/major preferred Professional appearance and demeanor with positive energy Able to lift up to 40 pounds, and manage to transport 120 lbs beer kegs with tools Must be able to stand ,walk ,lift and bend for up to 8 hours a day Weekends, holidays and evenings required Join us in delivering an energetic and memorable hospitality experience!
