This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your knowledge of the food and beverage industry while delivering outstanding customer service in a dynamic environment. Duties Assist customers in selecting wines that complement their preferences and occasions, providing expert recommendations based on taste profiles and food pairings Maintain an organized and visually appealing wine display, ensuring all bottles are properly labeled, stocked, and rotated Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales and introduce customers to new or premium wine options Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Square or Toast. Requirements Strong foundational knowledge of wine, including major varietals, wine regions, and styles Previous experience in restaurant service or food and beverage industry roles preferred Ability to lift and carry 50lbs+ Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or Toast for efficient transaction processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and recommend products confidently Excellent communication skills and a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest interactions
