Join a small team of dedicated operators producing Buffalo's Favorite Sandwich Rolls! This position is for second shift (1pm-10pm) and offers a shift differential of $.50/hour in addition to the base rate Currently hiring for entry level operators, minimal experience is acceptable, but there is room to grow in both responsibilities and compensation! Weekends off, regular schedule is Monday-Friday Overtime - Expect anywhere from 5-10 hours of overtime per week during the summer months Responsibilities include: Works at different work stations or tasks as production needs require including Mixer, Divider, Stretching, Roll-Line, Operator, Stretcher, and Oven, to name a few. Prepare machines to start a production cycle, performing calibration, cleaning and other activities Monitor and properly adjust machine settings Supply raw material or parts to semi-automated machines Check parts with precision, using appropriate measuring tools Conduct tests to check the operation of machines, on a regular basis Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift Verify output to detect any machine-related mistakes or flaws Create and manage records of approved and defective units or final products Create and maintain activity logs Adhere to health and safety regulations Requirements include: 1+ year of experience of working in a Packaging & Production Operator position is a plus Excellent understanding of production procedures Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail Strong teamwork and communication skills Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
