Responsibilities Prepare and blend ingredients according to established recipes and production guidelines Operate and maintain ice cream manufacturing equipment, including pasteurizers, mix tanks, and freezers Follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) protocols to ensure food safety at every stage of production Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils in compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards Package finished products efficiently while ensuring quality control measures are met Assist with inventory management, including raw materials and packaging supplies Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and safely Support sanitation procedures by cleaning machinery and workspaces regularly, adhering to strict hygiene standards Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed for ingredient or product movement within the facility Qualifications Prior experience in food processing, manufacturing, or a related food industry role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of HACCP, CGMP, and food safety regulations is highly desirable Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment Strong understanding of sanitation procedures and food safety practices Ability to operate forklifts or similar machinery safely (certification preferred) Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance during production processes Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform repetitive tasks effectively Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude This position is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about food production.
