A minimum of 3 years experience working as a sommelier or in wine sales is a must. Applicants will not be considered unless they have a basic fundamental knowledge of the classic wine regions of the world and major producers. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through our carefully selected wine and spirits selection, educating customers about different varieties, and consulting on wine pairings. Your enthusiasm for wine and hospitable approach will help create memorable moments for our guests ensuring long lasting and trusting relationships. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting wines that suit their preferences, pairing options, and occasions, providing expert recommendations. Maintain an organized and appealing wine display, ensuring proper labeling, rotation, and inventory management. Educate customers on wine varieties, tasting notes, production methods, and food pairings to enhance their knowledge and experience. Support packaging and inventory processes within the warehouse or storage areas, including stock replenishment and rotation. Collaborate with team members and salespeople on in store wine tastings. Update POS when necessary. Contribute to social media. Qualifications A minimum of 3 years experience in the wine industry, beverage service, or retail sales. Strong attention to detail in inventory management and product presentation. Excellent communication skills with a passion for educating others about wine and food safety practices.
