•BG Beverage Center is an established beverage store in Bowling Green, Ohio. We are known for our huge selection of craft and domestic beers, wines, and premium cigars.
Job Type:
Full-time Starting Pay Rate:
$15/hr on up (May be higer, depending on Retail Experience)
PLUS BONUS & COMMISSIONS 21
years of age or older (must be able to taste and evaluate product). Able to push, pull, bend, lift, carry up to 50 pounds, and climb step ladders. Ability to walk and be on feet for several hours per shift. Flexible hours a must. (evenings and weekends required) Must be able to PASS background check. Honest, professional, customer-friendly demeanor and appearance. Highly responsible, reliable and must have the ability to work with co-workers. Provide excellent service to customers. Engage customers in a friendly and approachable manner, answer any questions they may have, quickly serve them and tender payment. Ability to up-sell customers on beer/wine. Candidates should have an above average knowledge of beer and wine to be considered. Will be required to receive deliveries from many distributors. Ensure that all liquor laws and regulations are followed. Help prevent underage and intoxicated persons from being served. Experienced with and proficient at using retail point-of-sale systems. Clean, stock and maintain the store. Other duties as needed. Company may provide financial reimbursement to gain Cicerone Certification. Please apply only on Indeed. No phone calls please.
