Job Description

Role Overview The Butter Process Technician is responsible for the operation of butter production equipment, reviewing the butter operation to meet Minerva Dairy's high standards for quality and safety. This role operates in a washdown environment and requires a high level of attention to detail regarding food safety and equipment hygiene Schedule Monday
  • Friday (10pm
  • 6:30am) Weekends/Holidays/Overtime may be required to meet business needs. Pay Rate Entry Level
  • Starting at $22/hour
Key Responsibilities Production & Machine Operation:
Set up, operate, and exercise discretion on the butter processing machinery to ensure efficient production runs.
Quality Control:
Complete and analyze all required quality checks on time, including monitoring butter fat content and ensuring product specifications are met. Sanitation (CIP): Perform full tear-down and Clean-In-Place (CIP) procedures on equipment.
Hygiene Validation:
Use good judgement to ensure all equipment passes ATP swabs post-CIP to maintain a sterile production environment.
Compliance:
Strictly follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all safety protocols.
Documentation:
Review, analyze, and maintain accurate logs of production metrics, quality checks, and cleaning cycles. Requirements Comfortable working in a wet, washdown environment. Strong adherence to safety and food quality standards. Ability to frequently lift, carry, and maneuver up to 40-50 lbs (specifically regarding bulk butter and packaging materials). Ability to bend, stoop, and reach to load materials into machinery. Prior experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is preferred. Experience working with automated machinery or robotics is a plus. Exercises good judgment (specifically for quality checks and material loading).
