Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic brewing team as a Brewer and become a vital part of crafting exceptional craft beers in a fast-paced, innovative beverage manufacturing environment. This energetic role offers the opportunity to lead brewing operations, ensure product quality, and maintain a safe and efficient production process. As a key contributor, you will bring passion for brewing, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to food safety standards to deliver outstanding beverages that delight our customers. Duties Operate brewing equipment with precision, including mash tuns, fermenters, kettles, and packaging lines, ensuring optimal performance. Maintain strict sanitation protocols throughout the brewing process to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination. Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly, performing mechanical repairs or coordinating maintenance to minimize downtime. Handle raw materials and finished products safely using material handling equipment such as forklifts, adhering to safety protocols. Monitor quality assurance parameters by conducting tests and inspections aligned with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. Support brewhouse activities by organizing inventory, managing storage conditions, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in a food & beverage production setting. Requirements Proven experience in craft beer production or beverage manufacturing facility with knowledge of brewing processes. Strong understanding of sanitation procedures, HACCP principles, CGMP regulations, and food safety standards. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions efficiently. Experience operating manufacturing machinery and material handling equipment such as forklifts. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for measurements, recipe adjustments, and quality testing documentation. Familiarity with industrial chemical handling and safety standards within a food & beverage production environment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to lead or collaborate effectively within a production team.
