As aRelief Fryer/Peeler Operatorthis candidate will be responsible for removing waste from the conveyor belt that holds peeled potatoes and will also cut oversized potatoes and spots from all potatoes. T his position works Friday to Sunday5:25PM-5:55AM. Key Responsibilities Inspects peeled potatoes and trims defects to control quality of raw potato input to fryer. Operates potato chip fryer in relief of regular operator, including preparation for start-up and shut down. Carries out all necessary daily and weekly sanitation procedures for either peeler or frying area Changes and sets blades. Performs all necessary duties to prepare peeler/slicer or frying system for production start-up. Operates peeler/slicer system to maintain sufficient supply of properly peeled and sliced raw potatoes for fryer operation. Reports all quality or mechanical problems to the supervisor. Requires working proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people. Works in a safe manner at all times and communicates any safety issues to supervisor. Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
