Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic food production team as a Pickle Producer, where your expertise will help craft high-quality, delicious pickles that delight customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced manufacturing environment dedicated to food safety, innovation, and excellence. As a Pickle Producer, you will oversee the entire production process, ensuring that every jar meets strict quality standards and complies with all safety regulations. Your hands-on approach and mechanical knowledge will be vital in maintaining efficient operations and delivering top-tier products to market. We are committed to our people. Responsibilities Packing, labeling and boxing pickle jars with precision, care, focus and speed. Assist with sanitizing jars, washing and cutting produce, filling jars with spices and produce, making and pouring brine. Maintain a clean and safe workplace, participating in daily, weekly and monthly cleaning and space maintenance. Includes washing dishes, sweeping/mopping the floor, and cleaning equipment. Following direction and collaborating with other members of the production team to ensure that production pars are met with accuracy and in a timely fashion. Maintain strict sanitation and sanitation protocols in accordance with food safety regulations such as HACCP and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices). Conduct quality checks throughout the process to detect any deviations or defects, adjusting processes as needed. Ensure proper packaging of finished products, including labeling and sealing according to company specifications. Safe Food Handling. Following proper hygiene and cleanliness protocols to prevent contamination and illness. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to FDA regulations and food industry best practices. Qualifications No prior culinary training required, but an interest in pickling is preferred! Pickling is repetitive and can require long periods of time standing as well as moderate lifting (up to 50lbs). Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on processing equipment. Familiarity with sanitation procedures specific to food production facilities. Basic math skills for measurements, recipe adjustments, and quality assessments Strong understanding of packaging processes within a food processing plant environment. Applicants must have a strong work ethic, an inclination towards teamwork and must be dependable! Skills that are a bonus! Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety protocols is highly desirable. Valid forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is a plus. Basic Spanish language ability. This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about food safety and quality.
