Job Description
About the Role We're looking for a detail-oriented Junior Production Manager with full knowledge of the production process—from development through shipping. Someone who has working experience with multiple retailers, including Walmart, Target, Ross, Burlington, and others as well as multiple licenses. You'll work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and partner closely with the Production Director, Sales, and factories to keep programs on time. How You'll Contribute Create and issue purchase orders (POs) to factories. Follow up on lab testing and inspections to ensure timely delivery. Cross-check test request forms ensuring details are correct including all backing documentation before confirming in the CTL portal for Walmart/ Sam's Club orders. Log all lab test report details and inspections results into the Open Orders. Monitor test report validity dates as logged in the Open Orders and work with the factory to retest annually for reorders when placed. Monitor licensing contract expiration dates and follow up w/ Licensing team when it's time to renew. Analyze new customer manuals and production requirements for inspections and testing. Share with the factories and monitor their adherence to the requirements. Coordinate vessel bookings and work with freight forwarders to ensure timely deliveries. Coordinate delivery of factory-direct orders to the customer's freight forwarder as needed. Request, review and approve carton markings, price tickets and RFIDs. Follow up on Sales sample requests as indicated on Sales orders. Cross-check samples upon arrival before passing to the Sales team. Perform other tasks as assigned. What You Bring to the Team Ideally 4+ years of experience in a production-related role. Exceptional organization and attention to detail; strong written and verbal communication skills. Integrity and full ownership of the role. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
