Nonotelo EL Paso LLC seeks Gelato Maker in El Paso, TX 79912.
Duties:
Produce gelato in a confectionery manufacturing environment: scale/weigh ingredients; batch, pasteurize/cook, homogenize, age, and freeze mixes per recipes/SOPs; control Brix/solids, temperature, overrun, texture, and yield. Prepare and fold in variegates/inclusions; fill, package, label, and code product; maintain lot traceability and production/cleaning logs. Operate/clean/sanitize pasteurizers, homogenizers, batch freezers, mixers, and packaging equipment per GMPs, HACCP/food-safety, allergen controls, and OSHA standards; perform basic PM checks and report maintenance needs. Conduct in-process and finished-product QC (temps, weights, sensory, metal detection, sample retention) and coordinate with QA/warehouse on inventory (FIFO), ingredient staging, and schedule adherence to meet regulatory and company requirements.
