Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic bakery team as a Bakery Production Worker, where your energy and culinary passion will help craft delicious baked goods that delight our customers. In this fast-paced role, you will be integral to the entire production process, ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and commitment to safety will contribute to a vibrant, productive environment where every loaf, pastry, and treat is made with care and precision. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist in mixing, shaping, and assembling baked goods according to established recipes and standards. Operate bakery machinery such as mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, and packaging equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards to ensure food safety. Handle heavy lifting of ingredients, doughs, and baked products while adhering to safety protocols including proper PPE use. Monitor baking processes closely to ensure products are cooked evenly and meet quality specifications. Follow all regulatory and legal compliance standards related to food production, handling, and manufacturing processes. Support inventory management by accurately measuring ingredients using basic math skills and recording production data as required. Requirements Prior experience in food production, bakery operations, or restaurant kitchens is highly preferred. Knowledge of baking techniques, food handling procedures, and kitchen safety standards. Ability to operate mechanical equipment such as mixers, ovens, forklifts (certification preferred), and other machinery used in food manufacturing. Strong manual handling skills for lifting heavy ingredients or baked goods safely. Familiarity with sanitation practices and food safety management systems like HACCP and GMP. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory levels. Understanding of regulatory requirements related to food safety standards in a manufacturing environment. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment.
