Job Summary SnackCo of America is seeking dependable and motivated Fryer Operators to join our growing team in Logan, UT. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring fryer equipment to produce high-quality kettle chips. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing a great product. Why Work at SnackCo of America? What We Offer Competitive pay 401(k) with up to 4% company match Health, dental, and vision insurance options Accident and life insurance Maternity and paternity leave Paid vacation time Professional development and advancement opportunities Opportunities for upward or lateral career growth Responsibilities Monitor and operate fryers and potato loading systems to ensure smooth production flow Track cooking times, temperatures, and oil quality to maintain consistent, high-quality products Perform and document quality tests (e.g., FFA tests) to verify oil quality, product color, and proper SAPP and salt levels Maintain cleanliness of workstations, fryers, and surrounding areas in accordance with sanitation protocols and HACCP guidelines Conduct routine equipment inspections, troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, and promptly communicate maintenance needs Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure food safety compliance and prevent cross-contamination Monitor and maintain proper oil levels in fryers and makeup tanks Ensure fryer circulation valves are correctly adjusted for optimal performance Transfer oil between holding tanks and fryers as needed to support continuous operations Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, food production, or a related environment preferred Knowledge of sanitation procedures, HACCP standards, and GMP practices in the food industry Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a warm environment

$18.00•$23.00 per hour
