Tasting Room Associate

Position Summary:

The Tasting Room Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable wine-tasting experiences for guests. This position serves as a brand ambassador for Loving Cup, providing education about our wines, vineyard practices, and winemaking process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet all guests promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming atmosphere Conduct wine tastings and educate visitors about the winery's history, varietals, and production methods Accurately describe wine characteristics and recommend products based on guest preferences Operate point-of-sale system Support the set-up and breakdown of the tasting room and maintain overall cleanliness and organization Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local and state regulations Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current wine releases and winery offerings

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older Prior experience in hospitality, customer service, or wine sales preferred Friendly, professional demeanor with strong verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
