In this role, you will be an essential part of the food processing operation, ensuring that products meet rigorous quality and safety standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to all safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Operate food processing equipment in accordance with FDA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and other safety standards. Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining strict quality assurance standards. Follow detailed production procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory/legal standards and food safety management protocols. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including equipment and production lines, adhering to sanitation guidelines. Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process, identifying and addressing any deviations from quality standards in real-time. Collaborate with team members and management to optimize production workflows using SAP or similar manufacturing management systems. Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, or improve product quality. Ensure proper documentation of production activities, including logs for safety standards in production and regulatory compliance. Assist with inventory management and proper handling of raw materials and packaging supplies. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to manage production schedules and resolve issues promptly. Physically able to lift 65lbs + Abilitie to work in a cold environment Experience Prior experience working in a food processing plant or manufacturing environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety management systems is essential. Demonstrated understanding of quality standards in production, sanitation practices, and safety standards in manufacturing settings. Experience managing or working within food & beverage production teams is advantageous. Strong basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating yields, or adjusting processes as needed. Proven ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining high productivity levels. Excellent communication skills for managerial collaboration and team coordination within a fast-paced environment.
