Food Production Associate

About this job… Pedone Pinsa is seeking a Scaling & Balling Associate to support our growing production team. This hands-on manufacturing role is critical to producing consistent, high-quality Pinsa crusts while maintaining food safety and production efficiency. As a Scaling & Balling Associate, you will measure, portion, and shape dough to defined specifications, ensuring smooth production flow and adherence to quality and safety standards. This role is well-suited for individuals who enjoy physical work, value precision, and thrive in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. In this role, you will… Form scaled dough into uniform balls, ensuring consistency in size, weight, and shape Deliver product to the next production stage on time to maintain workflow Inspect product quality and report issues through established channels Monitor dough consistency and make minor adjustments within guidelines Comply with all food safety and quality programs, including HACCP, SQF, and GMP Assist with monitoring and basic upkeep of production equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace Store and handle ingredients properly to preserve quality and freshness Communicate production concerns, errors, and improvement ideas promptly Success factors… High School Diploma or equivalent; food manufacturing experience preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to product consistency and quality Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing production needs Familiarity with food safety principles (HACCP, GMP, SQF preferred) Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude High level of personal accountability, including attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to follow detailed recipes, procedures, and instructions What is in it for you… Be part of a fast-growing food manufacturing company with strong momentum Hands-on role where your work directly impacts product quality and customer satisfaction Opportunities to build skills in food safety, production, and process improvement Supportive, team-oriented environment that values reliability and accountability Competitive compensation and access to benefits and time-off programs per company policy Physical requirements...
