Lead Keno Shift Supervisor SummarySupervises and coordinates activities of workers, on a specific shift, in the Keno Department. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervises Lead Keno Runner/Writers, on a given shift, in the Keno Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Leadership Job Expectations:

Pathways to Success is designed to foster the participant's preparedness for success on the job. A Supervisor level leader is expected to actively support ECMs in their professional and academic goals through:Personalized Support:
Regularly engage with individual ECMs to understand their career interests and educational goals. Offer guidance tailored to their aspirations.Opportunity Identification:
Proactively inform ECMs about internal and external training, workshops, and educational programs aligned with their development needs.Facilitation of Growth:
Encourage participation in stretch assignments, cross-training, and job shadowing to build new skills and broaden experience.Feedback and Recognition:

Connect ECMs to relevant mentors, subject matter experts, and specific Pathways to Success programs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Under the direction of the Keno Lead Shift Supervisor, protects the integrity of the Keno game at all times.
- Monitors and controls day-to-day Keno operations including patron relations to successfully achieve a cost effective and profitable Keno department.
- Is a working supervisor who directly supervises the activities of the Keno staff.
- Ensures employee/patron compliance to regulatory, departmental and casino policies and procedures for efficient gaming operations.
- Remains aware of all casino functions and amenities so as to promote them to the guests.
- Provides game clarification to those customers who ask.
- Responsible for detecting and taking action against cheating, fraud and other disruptions as company policy dictates.
- Counts and verifies main bankroll.
- Logs all writers onto the computer for their shift.
- Completes end of shift reports.
- Completes Title 31 paperwork as needed.
- Notifies the Manager on Duty for payouts exceeding $10,000.
- Checks the game clock periodically to ensure that it is displaying the correct game number, date and time.
- Ensures all scheduling needs are fulfilled within established budgetary guidelines.
- Ensures all equipment is functioning properly at all times.
- Assists in the development of program changes, special promotions and customer recognition.
- Implements and enforces Casino Arizona's Internal Control Standards and ensures all departmental Policies and Procedures are consistent with the most current Internal Control standards.
- Responsible for the enforcement of all applicable regulations, under the code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, as it pertains to this position. This includes, but is not limited to, observing and reporting suspicious activity, of either customers or employees, as defined in the Code of Federal Regulations.
- Responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all applicable regulations under the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, by attending Title 31/Anti-Money Laundering training, provided by Casino Arizona, at least once a year or more if required by management and outlined in the Title 31 Minimum Internal Controls.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
