The Casino Assistant Manager will assist and oversee the daily operations of the Casino and ensure a smooth and profitable gaming experience for customers. The incumbent will manage a team of employees, coordinate activities across various departments and ensure compliance with gaming regulations and company policies. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the Casino industry. Supervise and coordinate the activities of various departments, including gaming, hospitality, security and finance. will assist in the development, implementation and maintaining the policies and programs to ensure physical safety of the casino's guests, employees, property and assets; complies with security policies and procedures as it applies to the approved Standard Operating Procedures. Duties Assist implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, such as loyalty programs and special promotions. Monitor customer feedback and take necessary steps to continuously improve service quality. Assists develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded. Assist monitor revenue streams, analyze financial reports, and implement cost control measures. Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations. Stay up to date with local, state, and federal gaming regulations and ensure the casino's compliance. Assist implement and enforce security measures to prevent fraudulent activities and maintain a safe Gaming environment. Liaise with regulatory bodies, such as gaming commissions, and respond to inquiries or investigations. Will be accountable for the maintenance, repair, and overall operation of slot machines. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Always comply with Foxwoods El San Juan Casino standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient Casino Operations. Employees must always be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees. Overall responsibility for Casino assets and Security. Enforces Standard Operating Procedures Train, schedule, evaluate and discipline casino operations personnel under supervision. Comply with federal and local laws as they apply to this position. Assist develop and implement operational procedures to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Recruit, train, and supervise employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. Create employee schedules, assign tasks, and conduct performance evaluations. Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among Team Members. Ensure exceptional customer service by actively engaging with guests, addressing their concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise. Qualifications Seven (7) to Ten (10) or more years of progressive gaming, administrative experience in a managerial role within the casino industry. Bilingual; Spanish and English Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate Gaming License from the Puerto Rico Gaming Commission Knowledge of overall Casino Operations, Surveillance and Security techniques, Casino Law, gaming Regulations, regulatory apparatus, how it functions, and industry trends. Familiarity with industry best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity and ethical conduct, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Proficiency in using computer systems, surveillance software, and Microsoft office applications. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities. Financial acumen with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
