Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cage Manager to lead our cash handling operations within the casino environment. The Cage Manager will lead their team in providing best in class, best in market gaming experience for our guests. They will support the team through effective hiring, training, scheduling, career development, and maintain with continuous and transparent feedback, engagement, and encouragement. Lastly, they will be responsible for all business functions; operational activities, upholding processes, and standards, maximizing financial performance, ensure compliance with all regulations, building relationships with regulators and community, and growing the RMG brand with flawless execution. Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and train cashiers to provide quality service to guests and staff. This includes, but not limited to, selling change, cashing checks, preparing all required forms, preparing fills and jackpots, checking in and out keys and banks, balancing main bank and all other banks, preparing deposits, counting, and bundling cash, wrapping coin, preparing buys, and ordering supplies. Ensure adequate amounts of cash and coins on hand for daily operations. Ensure adequate supplies are on hand. Assist Audit in reviewing overages/shortages and reviewing discrepancies as sent by Audit. Supervise staff to remain in compliance with all Colorado Limited Gaming rules and regulations. Understand and follow all RMG Casino policies and procedures. Supervise and assist staff in the operation of all equipment used to count and wrap coins / cash and count money. Ensure proper and safe usage of all equipment in the cage areas. During scheduled shift oversee the flow of operation for all cages. Maintain and adjust coverage when needed. Schedule staff breaks for the shift. Demonstrate good customer service skills and good resolution skills. Train staff with developing good customer service skills. Train and assist cashiers with daily duties as needed. Train and assist cashiers with proper handling of all casino funds. Responsible for Title 31 compliance including but not limited to training, documentation, and auditing for AML, CTL, SARC, and any and all other FINCEN requirements. Train staff on all Title 31 compliance including completing appropriate paperwork. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all IRS regulations and requirements. Documentation of all session play and related high limit gaming documentation. Keep abreast and current will all emerging gaming best practices. Write procedures as needed. Demonstrate good communication skills with staff, other departments, and management. Help Team Members develop and maintain a positive relationship with both Guests and other Team Members. A flexible schedule that includes evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Responsible for ensuring that Team Members maintain a clean and safe work environment and complies with safety procedures, including use of required safety equipment, identifying unsafe practices or conditions, and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of the unsafe conditions. Responsible for ensuring that Team Members follow Security policies and procedures and report all violations. Perform duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act. Perform other duties as assigned. Directly supervise team members in Cage operations. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training team members, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications and Requirements Demonstrated effective supervision and motivation of cashiers, preferably in a gaming, banking, or customer service environment. Demonstrated skills receiving, securing, handling, counting, and reconciling, and distributing large sums of money. Demonstrated effective decision making and problem solving. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Three or more years of recent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three to six months experience leading, supervising or providing technical direction to cashiers. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. These language skills must be executed in English. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and decimals. Ability to balance a large bank with large cash flows and many different types of transactions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few particular variables in common situations. Ability to organize and prioritize work. Colorado Limited Gaming Key License. $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
