JOB SUMMARY
Schedules will include regular work in the evenings, overnight and on weekends. In this role you will flex your schedule to interact with all shifts on your team. Salary will generally fall in the 60K range. Manage the Poker Supervisors and the daily and strategic operations of the Poker department. Assists in the supervision of the Poker department and promotes customer development during assigned shifts. Promotes guidance for teamwork, encourages employee ideas and feedback, counsels, guides and instructs assigned personnel in proper performance of duties; recommends when training is needed; and specific duties; recommends changes in the department including hiring, promotion, and termination. The term "management" includes duties such as interviewing; training; selecting and adjusting rates of pay and hours of work; directing the work of employees; maintaining production; appraising employees' productivity and efficiency for purposes of recommending promotions or other changes (evaluations); handling employees' grievances and complaints; disciplining employees; planning work; providing for safety and security; and monitoring or implementing legal compliance matters.

Oversee the operation of the Poker room Maintain knowledge of gaming regulations, internal controls, and company policies Train and supervise Poker Supervisors Oversee table fills, credits, and ensure paperwork accuracy Report key shift information to the Table Games Shift Manager Train supervisors on the Casino Management System Manage staffing levels based on patron volume and ensure fair scheduling Maintain employee proficiency through training and guidance Monitor game integrity and guest/employee activity Ensure efficient operations and high guest satisfaction Communicate important gaming information effectively to staff
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Some college education in Business, Accounting, Marketing or related field. Must be able to oversee numerous monetary transactions with a high degree of accuracy. Must enjoy working with the public, which at times can get very demanding. Previous work experience in dealing with people. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Ability to move around the office and work in confined spaces Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment Manual dexterity to operate office equipment (PC, fax, copier, printer) Able to lift up to 10 lbs and carry up to 5 lbs Perform physical movements such as bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and gripping Able to stand for extended periods, including entire shifts with breaks Respond effectively to visual and verbal signals Perform table game duties (handling cards, money, chips, and checks) efficiently and professionally Tolerate environmental factors (smoke, noise, bright lights, dust) Maintain attendance standards and follow company policies Accurately process transactions Maintain strong vision, including peripheral awareness
