Overview:

Shadow Wood Country Club is a private, member-owned club, located in the heart of beautiful Southwest Florida. Shadow Wood Country Club is proud to offer its membership 54-Holes of championship golf, two award winning clubhouses, and an extraordinary level of personal service! Shadow Wood Country Club is currently looking for Starter/Rangers, who are positive, energetic, and eager to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate would pride themselves on their attention to detail and offering an exemplary level of customer service. This position is part time, 8 to 32 hours per week, with a pay rate of $15.00/hour.

Position Summary:

The Starter/Rangers are expected to service the needs of the membership, and their guests, by providing a high-level of customer service, communicating with all staff, monitoring pace of play, ensuring tee sheet accuracy, and starting member play on time.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for starting and monitoring play on the golf course to help insure smooth play for all members and guests Enforce club rules and policies and report violations to the Golf Shop Participate in timely emergency response

Physical Demands:

May need to sit or stand throughout shift May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day

Experience Required:

Prior experience in the golf business is preferred, but not necessary Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
